1. Information We Collect
I'm Well collects the following information to provide the service:
- Account information: Email address and display name when you register.
- Check-in data: Timestamps of when you tap the check-in button. This data is stored only in your account and is never sold.
- Schedule preferences: Your preferred check-in windows.
- Emergency contacts: Phone numbers and names you optionally add for SMS escalation (Plus/Family plans).
- Waitlist email: If you join our pre-launch waitlist, we store your email address solely to notify you at launch.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information exclusively to:
- Operate the check-in and escalation system.
- Send push notifications and SMS alerts as configured by you.
- Notify waitlist members when the app launches.
- Improve the service through aggregated, anonymized analytics.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted in the United States. Data is protected by Firebase Security Rules that allow access only to the authenticated user and their explicitly invited family members. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
4. Third-Party Services
I'm Well uses the following third-party services:
- Google Firebase: Authentication, database, and push notifications.
- Twilio: SMS delivery for emergency escalation (Plus/Family plans only).
- Umami Analytics: Privacy-first, cookieless website analytics. No personal data is shared with Umami.
- Google Analytics (GA4): Website analytics. You may opt out via your browser's privacy settings or a GA4 opt-out extension.
5. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account). Waitlist members may request removal by emailing us at the address below.
6. Children's Privacy
I'm Well is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email.
